And now...my favourite subject is...

Hi again! Today I'm going to write about my favourite subject. This is Conduct. Maybe some people will think "what?" hahaha.
Conduct is every change of form, posicion or activity in an organism, as a transicion over time.
The classes of this subject are very interesting. Our teacher usually use wonderful examples to explain these changes. I really enjoy the classes about neurobiology of conduct. At the end of the classes, Mr Solis show us some paper related with the main topic, and sometimes he compares animals with humans.
I apreciate how he give us his opinion about the experiments.
Since i was a child, i was very interested on experiments related with behavior. I like this area because is important to predict some situations to improve other aspects. Besides i think that if we can understand the conduct of animals, maybe we will be able to understan them and a part of us.
It's more easy learn numbers and biological concepts, than predict the conduct of any organism. Memorize is more easy than think by ourselves.
That is something that a lot of my classmates have to understand to respect this subject.
See you!

Humberto Maturana...

It is difficult to me choose one person, because i admire a lot of people. However i think that this time i can mention one of my favorites scientists. This person is Humberto Maturana. He is a very important biologist in Chile. Besides, he worked as an epistemologist to. In my view, his work was very relevant, not just for the biology area, but also provides insight into a type of reasoning that explain what is life. This think is awesome, because just a few scientists do this reasoning. Try to explain what is life and what is the difference between something death and something alive it is a hard work considerating that a lot of scientists just do experiments at the laboratory without a real objetive. In his work, he began to use the concept of autopoyesis. The autopoyetics things are capable to be alive for its own count by closed systems of autoproduction.

I really like how he write about biology of learning. Sometimes i think that he is a kind of philosopher that wants to know the answer of the main things in the life. If we know why we are alive, maybe we will know how to improve in a better way our lives.

I hope that some day the actual current scientists begining their works, question why they are doing the experiment and what is the real porpouse...maybe a philosopher in biology could bring to us  the answer that we need to live better.

By the way, i didn't want to put a biography about Maturana, because i admire him not for his age or the school were he studied. I try to say why his work inspires me.
I admire him just for his reasoning.
